Position Overview

This position involves responsibility for the management of technical, analytical and productivity aspects of a valuation team. A successful candidate will possess a superior technical and analytical knowledge and skill in business valuation, as well as be able to demonstrate proven managerial skills required to deliver an extremely high quality work product through a team of valuation analysts.

  • Proven ability to effectively organize, plan, direct, and delegate valuation projects with a team of valuation analysts.
  • Substantiated ability to lead a team of valuation analysts in delivering high quality work product, both from a qualitative or business writing standpoint and a quantitative standpoint.
  • Proven ability to implement and monitor a system for valuation project profitability and efficiency and to be accountable for the results of a valuation team.
  • Proven ability to improve existing business processes, financial models, and valuation reports.
  • High level of commitment to client service.
  • Superior research, analytical, verbal comprehension, and communication skills.

Required Credentials

  • Seven to ten years of related business valuation experience, at least three years which involved the direct management of a valuation team preferably with a focus on federal tax and corporate valuations.
  • Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Business Valuation, American Society of Appraisers and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), CFA Institute.
  • B.A. or B.S. in Accounting, Economics or Finance.

Preferred Credentials

  • Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, State of Florida, Department of Business and Professional Regulation
